I got this message during booting after system tried to check the disks:
[ 12.180621] tpm_crb MSFT0101:00: can't request region for resource [mem 0xfed40080-0xfed40fff]
It seems to be a long running bug:
- https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=216403
I am running Ubuntu 16.04 in a laptop ASUS R753U.
Can someone help with this?

Doubtful, because you have linked to BIOS bugs. Talk to your motherboard manufacturer about those.
