I just build a desktop. I am using Gigabyte GT1030 GPU. I installed Ubuntu 18.04 through USB media. It installed pretty normally. then it asked me to restart. Then it enters GRUN 2.02, and there are options: "try ubuntu without installing", "install ubuntu", "OEM install...", "check disk...". At this time, my USB drive is still on the desktop. It did not ask me to "remove install media and press enter".
I tried to select "try ubuntu without installing", it leads me to a "live session user". Then I tried to turn off the desktop and remove the USB drive and turn on the desktop again, it enters to the login screen and enters a login loop.
looking for help please!
Thank you very much!
boot grub2 login

That card uses an Nvidia chipset, try one of the many solutions here using the "nomodeset" on the grub linux line at the "quiet nosplash" words.
