I'm curruntly running Mint/Xfce/32 Bits 18.3 on Lenovo Thinkpad X100e Single Core AMD 1.6Ghz/3Gb Ram/250Hdd. Works fine.
Already tested 64bits of many Linux distros, but they seen to lag (using 64bit) even though the processor offers 64bit support. Back in 2011 Lenovo recommended Ubuntu 10.04, maybe a little outdated nowadays.
Which version of Ubuntu is more suitable to run on this netbook? Using a non-LTS seen to be risky, so lets say it is my preference to keep on LTS flavors. I use this machine for casual browsing, writter, calc and scan some documents from a Hp 3050 Printer.

I hope it will be good with Ubuntu MATE (16.04 LTS or 18.04 LTS). Usually HP printers have good support byhplip

Tks for your comment! I'm starting to download your recommendation.. Printer/Scan: The installation from HPlip is easy, reason why I dont use my other printer Epson Xp230. Linux Flavors: Also downloaded Lubuntu 18.04 / 16.04 all 32bits. Try a Cinammon Mint will get the system too laggy?

Pretend to use a laser Samsung/Brother Printer.. Will the installation be as fast and automatic as HP on the mentioned Distros?

Possible duplicate of How do I find out which version and derivative of Ubuntu is right for my hardware in terms of minimal system requirements? . Not sure about Samsung/Brother and Epson - did not set up them on Ubuntu.

There is also Xubuntu 18.04 LTS 32 bit. Light and customizable.
