Short: RAID + GPT + GRUB not booting

Message: Booting ubuntu. Failed booting Ubuntu

I have 4-4TB hdd each of which is partitioned as follows

  • 1MB free space

  • 500MB EFI //part2

  • 3.* TB ext4 (raid 10) //part3

  • 100 GB (raid 10) //part4

  • 100 GB //part5

  • 200 GB ext 4 (raid 10) //part6

part3 -> /home
part4 -> /
part5 -> swap
part6 -> /opt

In this configuration the installation succeeded, but it did not boot and showed the message on top.

Some forums advised to create a separate boot partition. So I changed the partition table to:

I have 4-4TB hdd each of which is partitioned as follows

  • 1MB free space

  • 100MB (raid 1) //part1

  • 400MB EFI //part2

  • 3.* TB ext4 (raid 10) //part3

  • 100 GB (raid 10) //part4

  • 100 GB //part5

  • 200 GB ext 4 (raid 10) //part6

and I mapped part1 -> /boot. But I still get the same message.

Could anyone please help. Is there anyway to get more details of this error?
