I have been trying to install Ubuntu 18.04 on two different PCs from a USB drive and I get the same kind of error. I never had this issue installing Ubuntu previously. The error is as follows:

/init: line 7: can't open /dev/sr0: No medium found

I think on the other PC, instead of sr0 I have sr1. Anyways, I does go through the installation but the system can't boot anymore. I have to install windows again in order to make the system boot up. Any help will be appreciated.
