I am running ubuntustudio 16.04 LTS
I have a Digipass VASCO DP905 E1.1. card-reader.
I could use it to see my ID and log in on websites.
In autumn 2017, I realised it didnâÂÂt work anymore.
When I connect the eID and start the eid-viewer I see the information popping up. The next step is when it starts reading the certificates. Then all information disappears. The log-file gives: could not verify data validity: address signature invalid, DATA_INVALID, entering state CARD_INVALID
But when I connect the card(reader) to a windows10 pc it all works fine. So nothing wrong with the ID itself nor the card-reader I guess.
The fedict-helpdesk asked me to remove the eID-certificates using the libnss3-tools.
When I try, I donâÂÂt get a list with nicknames using this tools. After that the fedict helpdesk suggested something wrong with the distro and to contact this forum.
The strange thing is that my wife can use her eid on the ubuntustudio pc.
Same hardware, same software, other eid but my eid works on a windows10 pc.
