Virtualbox Setting/Storage/Controller:SATA use host I/O cache disabled

I just want to configure the copy and paste function. And have read some suggestion to change the Setting/Storage/Controller:SATA use host I/O cache to true.
But i found that this check box is disabled. How can i fix it?
Or how can i achieve the copy and paste (eg pics) to the virtual box?

this doesn't seem like an Ubuntu question.... however, did you install from Oracle or from the Ubuntu repos? I do know that to get full functionality from VBox, you need to install from their PPA or website and install the guest host additions

this doesn't seem like an Ubuntu question.... however, did you install from Oracle or from the Ubuntu repos? I do know that to get full functionality from VBox, you need to install from their PPA or website and install the guest host additions
