I just want to configure the copy and paste function. And have read some suggestion to change the Setting/Storage/Controller:SATA use host I/O cache to true.

But i found that this check box is disabled. How can i fix it?
Or how can i achieve the copy and paste (eg pics) to the virtual box?

  • this doesn't seem like an Ubuntu question.... however, did you install from Oracle or from the Ubuntu repos? I do know that to get full functionality from VBox, you need to install from their PPA or website and install the guest host additions
