Evolution keeps asking for password

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and Evolution 3.10.04 to access my compuserve email. For the past couple of weeks Evolution keeps asking for password authentication at every send/receive which I have set for 10 min. When I enter the password it says "incorrect password" and the only way I've found to connect is to close Evolution then open my browser (Firefox), navigate to cs.com, click on mail and enter my username and password then immediately log out and close the browser, then reopen Evolution and enter my password and it works at least long enough to get new mail but when I go away and come back later it asks for password again and I have to do it all over again.
