I had installed Ubuntu 18.04 with the Minimal install option. Then I installed the cinnamon-core. Something did not work correctly so I tested if that could be solved by installing the full "cinnamon-desktop-environment". It turned out that was not the cause.

Now I want to go back to "core". I uninstalled "cinnamon-desktop-environment" with automremove and purge, but there still are lots of stuff that came with it such as LibreOffice, Thunderbird, games, etc.

How to go back to core? Should I have to figure out the list of such things and uninstall them manually?
