I had been setting up my new install of Ubuntu and installing the proper drivers and updates. Then when it came time to switch back to my Mac OS I got nothing, just a black screen. The last thing that I was doing was manipulating the efibootmgr to switch back over to Mac OS (because there was an intermittent issue where Ubuntu would overwrite the boot sequence when initially logging into it. However, I just decided to deal with it for the time being and just log into efibootmgr and change the sequence). This was the last thing I did before trying to switch the os and when the computer restarted, I got a black screen.
I tried all the key combinations for OSX and tried to see if I could get it to boot from another disk and did my best to get grip or grup2 and still nothing. However, the Mac mini still does it's boot chime and the screen indicates its connected. I am running a Mac mini (2014) model with OS 10.13 and Ubuntu 18.04.
Please help with your advice and tips.
Thanks :)
