Try Purging and Installing pip again. i can see that the files where not downloaded from repository it is installing using the cache from the temp which is already downloaded. i am suggesting to make a clean install that might help.
first purge pip and do a autoclean and autoremove on the apt and then try installing again.
I have tried this but getting same error: anshul@ANSHUL:~$ pip -V Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/pip", line 9, in <module> from pip import main ImportError: cannot import name main anshul@ANSHUL:~$ which pip /usr/bin/pip
