Could you please boot the Ubuntu installer medium with the option "Try Ubuntu" (selectable in the boot menu), open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T), run the commandssudo lsblk -f
andsudo lshw -C storage,disk
and then edit your question to copy and paste the output of both commands into it? Thanks.

What brand/model system? Some need drives changed from RAID or Intel SRT to AHCI. If dual booting with Windows install AHCI drivers first, or change back temporarily to boot Windows and install AHCI drivers. see also: RAID to AHCI askubuntu.com/questions/963087/â¦
