I own an Asus N56 series computer, which comes with a pluggable sub-woofer though a 2.5mm jack.
I'm on Ubuntu 17.10 and it works, but it reproduces all frequencies and not only the lower ones, resulting in a very bad audio experience. I haven't been able to find appropriate drivers for the device to maybe fix the problem.

How can I set the system to reproduce only the lower frequencies through the sub-woofer? Thank you.
