I have an iPhone (6+, iOS11 original) and would like to connect it to an Ubuntu PC. Previously (with iOS 10) it worked using an alternative usbmuxd/libimobiledevice built from sources. Now idevicepair reports "Cannot find iDevice".

Please advice a way to connect my iPhone to Kubuntu desktop PC (17.10), with possibility to down/upload photos, music and other media from an original, non-jailbroken iPhone.
