Hades Canyon NUC8i7HVK - Cannot install with LVM

Ubuntu installs fine however will hang with an error being unable to find ubuntu-vg
I tried installing again without LVM and it seemed to run fine, also would not run without applying nomodeset parameters in grub as per: Hades Canyon NUC8i7HVK can install but can't boot
18.04 radeon lvm intel-nuc
