Ubuntu /dev/sda2 clean bug

So when i boot up ubuntu on my self built PC it comes up with /dev/sda2 clean, xxx/xxxx files, xxx/xxxx blocks. Other guides say just to wait but i waited 30 minutes and still stuck there. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    /dev/sda2 clean, xxx/xxxx files, xxx/xxxx blocks. is not the error or bug. It is the last message from the system, saying that checking the disk partition sda1 finished without errors. For some reason your DE don't start up. Try to go to a console (ctrl-alt-f2) and log in to examine the logfiles in /var/log for indications of what the error is.
