I just installed Ubuntu on my Desktop computer. I would like to use it as a Linux Server at home. However, I use a Wifi network at home, so I bought a wireless adapter from Amazon.com, but I don't know how to install it in Ubuntu.
Can someone please guide me through?

Plug the wireless adapter into the computer and add the output of eitherlspciorlsusbto your question depending on whether it's an internal PCI card or a USB dongle. If the wireless adapter doesn't work one of the commands will provide identification for the hardware.
