I have a Filco Majestouch 2 Bluetooth mechanical keyboard which I have paired to my Gigabyte BRIX J1900 SFF PC. I am currently running Lubuntu 17.10.

Currently, when the keyboard goes into power save mode, the the system loses track of it. When I wake the keyboard up with a keystroke and it tries to reinitiate contact with the PC, it is unable to. I either have to delete the pairing and re-pair, or simply reboot.

Now here's the interesting bit... Before upgrading from 17.04 to 17.10, waking up the keyboard would allow it to reinitiate contact successfully. It just worked.

Could there be some configuration option that got changed by default that prevents the keyboard from talking to the PC when it wakes back up?

Thanks for reading.
